In 2001 and 2002, Gilmour performed six acoustic solo concerts in London and Paris, along with a small band and choir,
“Je crois entendre encore” (“I still believe I hear”) – an aria from Georges Bizet’s opera Les pêcheurs de perles (The Pearl Fishers), was sabg in French by DG. Robert Wyatt appears in “Confortably Numb” singing the verses previosuly sang by Roger Waters. “Smile” was perfoemd live for the 1st time, and would appear only 5 years later on the album “On an island”
